Job Title: Recruitment Partner

Location: Huntingdon

Salary: £35k – £42k Per annum DOE

Job type: Full Time/ Hybrid working

The Role:

We will look to you to deliver and lead a customer-focused and fit-for-purpose recruitment service to the business, overseeing team workload and empowering team members to develop and achieve to their full potential.

As a ‘hands-on’ member of the team, you will take responsibility for specific recruitment campaigns and provide resilience and practical support to the team during peaks in workload, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues in the wider People team and stakeholders across the service.

About You:

You will have a clear passion for everything recruitment and retention and bring that passion with you into CFRS. The Service is a fantastic, fun and unique organisation to be part of and your drive, experience and knowledge will help us on our journey.

In addition, we will look to you to possess the following:

  • Appropriate recruitment qualification, e.g., Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) minimum Level 3 qualification or demonstratable equivalent experience.

OR

  • CIPD qualification at Level 5 or actively working towards, or demonstratable equivalent experience
  • Experience of working in an in-house recruitment function.
  • Experience of advising managers at all levels on sometimes complex and sensitive recruitment issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging employment law and best practice and experience of giving advice and guidance on employment legislation related to recruitment, to managers at all levels.
  • Experience of working on and seeing projects and initiatives through to completion, and understanding of project and change management techniques
  • Ability to liaise professionally with people of all levels and across all sections of the organisation and develop constructive and credible working relationships with all employee groups, managers, and representative bodies.
