The City of Lincoln is looking for 2 full time staff to join its Resident Involvement Team. This is an exciting opportunity which will require the successful candidates to actively engage with and support our tenants and leaseholders so they can contribute their views to service delivery, policy development and other issues which affect them.

The role:

This is a varied and challenging role providing support to our City of Lincoln’s Tenant Panel, working groups and encouraging tenant involvement in scrutiny of housing services. The postholders will work with the Resident Involvement Manager to help create and implement different methods of traditional and digital engagement to increase participation across all council housing stock.

The successful candidates will have the ability to provide a high level of customer care, be a good, confident communicator able to cope with a wide variety of situations and have an appreciation of local housing issues affecting the council housing sector, as well as the ability to demonstrate excellent analytical, written and IT skills.

The postholders will seek to further develop tenant participation for the Council. They will work in partnership with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective community engagement which will help inform service planning and delivery, therefore the roles require an element of flexibility as there may be occasions where the post holder will need to work evenings and weekends to support the relevant groups.
