Job Title: Revenues Recovery Officer

Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk, United Kingdom

Based in any ARP office – Melton IP12 1RT, Lowestoft NR32 1HH, Thetford IP24 1BT or March

Salary: £20,444 – £22,129 per annum

Job Type: 37 hours per week – Permanent/Full Time

Be part of our successful Recovery team to collect outstanding Council Tax and Housing Benefit Overpayments, negotiate with debtors, maintain client records, apply appropriate recovery actions, and liaise with other revenues teams.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills who is a team player but can also work on their own initiative.

About the role:

  • Monitor client accounts to check payments received and accurately update computer systems and records.
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced partnership environment, liaising and communicating with the public, other departments, and external agencies including Enforcement Agents
  • Have great communication skills, both written and verbal and above all have plenty of enthusiasm!
