Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Newcastle.
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (Experience Dependent)
Job type: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday – Friday. This role will be based in Cramlington – WFH days negotiable.

GT Piping Solutions is a global supplier of high-pressure piping systems within the Oil & Gas Industry. We work alongside side our sister company Top Sun Technology Development who supply specialist marine equipment.
The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our sales department, with potential progression opportunities, as well as the opportunity to earn great bonuses in a rapidly growing company. Your position will be based with GTP but also be flexible to integrating with Top Sun Technology Development sales processes.

Main Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer enquiries, identifying their needs, and portraying a professional image of the company as first point of call
- Sourcing products and acquiring pricing for client enquiries
- Preparing commercial quotations & sending out to clients in a timely manner, liaising & working with our internal technical functions, as necessary
- Maintain existing customer relationships, checking in with clients & building strong relationships in order to become a valued sales resource
- Conduct market research & find new prospective customers, approaching these contacts to win new business for the company
- Assist in the closing of orders in a profitable manner, with acceptable conditions of contract
- Keep enquiry & order logs up to date
- Assist on projects where necessary
Job Requirements:
- A level of engineering knowledge & applications within the Oil and Gas Industry is desirable
- Experience in a sales role, handling customer requirements & preparing quotations
- Experience in business development
- Project management experience would be desirable but not necessary
- A track record of winning sales would be desirable, but not necessary
- High level of personal credibility; confident in personal expertise & company products
- Ability to communicate well in a business manner
