Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Central London / Home Working (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 basic Salary + £18k Comms (uncapped)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic, target driven and motivated individual to be part of our successful B2B commercial team at AE3 Media. Sales experience and a passion for digital and event sales are vital. Previous experience in media sales is desirable but not essential.

As an integral member of the team, you will be part of the B2B advertising team selling multiplatform advertising, content and event solutions across our digital platforms and events portfolio. You will develop a good knowledge of the AE3 Media B2B brands and commercial solutions to enable your success.

Key Responsibilities:

In a nutshell, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue targets aliened to the sales team objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts, providing outstanding customer service and support.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
  • Sell digital advertising, content marketing solutions and events sponsorship packages to clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of the company’s products, services and data solutions and to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-function teams, including editorial, marketing and events to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and events.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the management team.

About you:

What we are looking for:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to sell a wide range of solutions – display advertising, creative solutions, content marketing and events to our commercial partners
  • Experience in prospecting, lead generation, new business development and strategic account management
  • Creating sales material and presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent influencing, objection handling, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Relevant market experience is desirable but not essential
