Job Title: Sales Support Coordinator

Location: Offord Cluny, Cambridgeshire (You will need your own transport)

Salary: £17,293 pa for 27.5 hrs per week. 9.15am to 2.45pm. Commission payable & OTE £20,000 pa

Job Type: Permanent, part-time, term-time

The Company have been in business since 2004 and specialise in the provision of audio visual equipment to education and corporate businesses. The equipment includes state of the art interactive touchscreens and projector and screen solutions for school halls and meeting rooms.

The Role:

Provide support to the Sales & Support teams in a variety of administrative & sales tasks. Training in our sales processes and our product range will be provided. Duties include inputting and maintaining the sales database and customer records, processing orders and quotes, scheduling appointments, and building relationships with existing customers by making and receiving calls (no cold calling). This is a new job and the content is expected to evolve as it is embedded within the business.

The jobholder may also be required to carry out other duties within their capability as needed by the Company.

Reports to the Managing Director.

Main Duties

  • Production of sales quotations and proposals, as instructed
  • Customer liaison via email/phone (no cold calling) & passing callers on to appropriate teams
  • Log all enquiries for reporting purposes
  • Create customer database records & keep them updated (eg which school is in which Trust)
  • Produce reports and analyse customer data to produce meaningful information
  • Constantly update Sales Managers with customers presenting opportunities for sales
  • Other duties as required eg supporting Sales Managers with admin for large contracts

Skills & Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and databases.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills and polite telephone manner.
  • Confident and experienced in multi-tasking and organising own workload and time-management
  • Must have held a previous position of trust and maintained confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Supportive small business team member – willing to take instruction from others and work collaboratively
  • Willing to undertake training
  • Ability to broadly learn our products so can speak credibly with customers
  • Must work to health & safety procedures in all aspects of the job

Benefits:

  • £17,293.00 per year, plus commission
  • 33 days holiday per year, including bank holidays
  • 27.5 hours per week, but flexible approach essential
