The role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dynamic Schemes and Affinities Team at Clear Group. As a Schemes Account Handler, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and supporting the administration of specialised insurance portfolios.

The Schemes and Affinities Team, operating across London and Horsham, has evolved significantly since its inception in May 2022. Under the leadership of a director, the team embraces a collaborative and inclusive culture, fostering an environment where everyone’s contributions are valued.

In the role of a Schemes Account Handler, you will be instrumental in achieving both personal and team business income and production targets. Your responsibilities extend to identifying and capitalising on opportunities for cross-selling products and services to existing clients. With a focus on efficient and professional administration of insurance portfolios, you will play a key role in supporting Line Managers and Directors in the team’s daily operations. Ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to data security will be a crucial aspect of your contribution to the team’s success.

The Candidate:

  • Proficient in general and/or property insurance processes within the department
  • Knowledgeable about insurance market practices and principles
  • Familiarity with the main methods of controlling and reducing insurance risk.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to the job.
  • Proficient in structuring and processing both qualitative and quantitative data, deriving insightful conclusions. Demonstrates a probing mind and achieves deep insights.
  • Demonstrates effective organisation and planning skills by efficiently scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating tasks. Emphasises key priorities to enhance productivity.
  • Demonstrates clear and articulate verbal and written skills. Upholds this standard consistently in all written communications, including email correspondences.
  • Maintains a high level of attentiveness ensuring project success. Sets and expects high standards for personal and team performance. Demonstrates a quick learning ability and effectively absorbs new information.
  • Consistently fulfils verbal and written agreements, ensuring reliability and trustworthiness.
  • Displays a strong willingness to work diligently, to accomplish tasks. Establishes a proven track record of dedicated and hard work. Displays passion and excitement for work, maintaining a positive “can-do” attitude.
