Job Title: Senior Events and Partnerships Executive

Location: Salford

Salary: Up to £26,000 – £28,000 per annum (Experience Dependent)

Job Type: Fixed Term (2 Years), full time (37.5 hours a week)

About the role:

The Senior Events and Partnerships Executive will play a key role in supporting the delivery of The Lowry’s annual calendar of stewardship, recruitment and fundraising events, as well as the day-to-day stewardship and administration of The Lowry’s key corporate partnerships including processing ticket bookings, renewals, and coordinating requirements around venue visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stewardship and day to day delivery of The Lowry’s major corporate and in-kind partnerships;
  • Arrange all ticket bookings including Quay Club and restaurant reservations.
  • Be responsible for all partnership administration including managing ticket allocations, processing renewals, coordinating visits, and facilitating special requests.
  • Support with partnership activity delivery and liaise closely with other Lowry departments to ensure benefits are fully delivered.
  • Guest list management (invites and RSVPs), ticket processing, briefing note writing, travel and accommodation arrangements and logistical support.
  • Attend and support the delivery of a range of Advocacy events (including Gallery Private Views) and Supporters events throughout the year.
  • Supporting with the delivery of the department’s income generating fundraising events throughout the year (ranging from Golf Day to Gala dinners around shows).
  • Lead on all communications to partners such as new season launches, our annual review, activity reporting and organisational updates.
  • Regularly provide social media content for the web team and link in partners where appropriate.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Creative thinking in terms of partnership engagement and event management.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Good understanding of financial processes.
  • A passion for the arts and a commitment and enthusiasm for the activities and aims of The Lowry, including our Learning & Engagement work.
  • Solid experience of developing and delivering a range of events – both in terms of scale and objectives.
  • Solid experience of account management and delivering partnership activity.
  • Knowledge and experience of database management and understanding of the Data Protection Act.
  • Experience of building and maintaining meaningful relationships with partners (or clients).
  • Willingness to work outside normal hours as and when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience of CRM databases and box office systems.
  • Thorough and effective qualitative and quantitative reporting skills including data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to work to targets and within agreed budgets.
  • Knowledge of development and corporate fundraising within the Arts or charitable sector.
  • Experience of working within an arts organisation or experience of working in an events management role in the creative or charitable sector.
