Main Purpose:

Lead and deliver technical projects, ensuring compliance to client expectation. Provide detailed design and implementation of IT solutions and deliverables. The development and management of internal and hosted infrastructure including firewall administration.

Provide direct technical support by telephone and in person to key clients within strict SLA’s to a successful conclusion. Identify the cause of hardware and software failures and implement corrective action to rectify the problem.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scope, lead and deliver of projects, ensuring compliance to client expectation
  • Working with the Pre-Sales and Technical functions to support, validate and help deliver client presentations, workshops and responses to technical and business enquiries
  • Manage and deliver the implementation process from the point the customer places the order, and the Systems Integration team have provided the necessary parts, equipment, software and licences to a successful deployment conclusion
  • Translate business requirements into a functional and technical implementation
  • Proven knowledge of recent and current releases of Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange Server products
  • Working knowledge to install, configure, troubleshoot and support of storage technologies
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in Firewall configuration, Security and IP Networking
  • Thorough working knowledge to assemble, configure and install major brand server hardware
  • Proven ability to investigate, diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of problems, with network and computer hardware; device driver, operating system and application server software
  • Responding to and resolving support calls along with agreed SLA
  • Propose the most efficient and effective means to solve business and technical problems through the use of best in breed business tools, such as data migrations, virtualisation, upgrades, and new deployments
  • Evaluating, testing and recommending of new technologies and systems
  • Provide verbal and written presentations, demonstrations and reports both internally and client facing
  • An adaptable and flexible approach to work and travel
