Job Title: Auto Service Advisor

Salary: £26,000 – £33,000 (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced service advisor with great customer service skills to ensure that vehicles are repaired, maintained and upgraded in a timely and cost-effective manner and help grow our independent garage and body shop.
A successful candidate will be experienced in the field and have a background in vehicle repair and service, as well as being confident, focused and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail, love paperwork and be very organised. Familiarity with a garage based software would be a help.
We are a small team running a very busy garage and looking for someone to slot in and grow the business with us. Able to think on your feet, search out the correct parts for the job, format costings and relay this with the customer.
About the role:
- To ensure the smooth and effective running of administration of the HR department. To give day to day administration support to the HR Team.
- To update and maintain HR systems and filing systems whilst ensuring they are compliant with GDPR legislation.
- Support with cyclical and ad hoc projects and activities such as annual pay review, talent planning, roll out of initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and legal frameworks are adhered to at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the public.
- Accurately record customer and vehicle information.
- Accurately cost out jobs and convey this to the customer.
- Follow up the job with the technicians in the workshop
- Look for ways to increase turnover and enhance the customer experience
- Solve customer complaints. management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Service advisor: 2 years (required)
