Job Title: Service Contracts Coordinator

Location: Hitchin Office

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent/ Full-time – 37.5 hours per week but flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the role

Department: After Sales

Reporting to: Operations Director

The role:

A key area of our business is supporting our customers and the equipment we have supplied after the sale; ensuring reliability and longevity of the products. The provision of comprehensive service and maintenance contracts ensures that we can provide the very best service to our customers with tailored offerings based on their needs.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Renew and negotiate existing service and preventative maintenance contracts
  • Find new opportunities within existing contracts
  • Develop robust relationships with customers
  • Explore and identify opportunities within existing and new potential accounts
  • Look at P + L on customers currently on Contract
  • Preparing Quotes
  • Create tender proposals for group accounts
  • Process Contracts on System
  • Sales Administration
  • Prepare and send all sales literature as requested
  • Maintain database, documenting relevant information from customer interactions
  • Support the Area Sales Managers
  • Maintenance of the ‘Non-active’ customer list, contacting customers within this list to identify reasons for inactivity and any opportunities for Girbau to provide products and/or services
  • Enter product sales leads gained through After-Sales channels onto Salesforce and assign them to the appropriate Area Sales Manager

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Customer Service Team
  • Provide Sales and Customer Service Support by phone and email to new and existing customers
  • Book in planned work with customers

Key KPIS:

  • Number of new contracts sold
  • Value of Service Contracts quoted and agreed
  • Number and value of renewed contracts agreed

  • Customer Service Manager
  • Customer Service Team
  • Industrial and Commercial Service Managers
  • Sales Team

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • No formal qualifications required
  • Customer Service or Sales experience
  • Good telephone manner
  • Experience in a telesales/telephone-based role
