About Us:

ROCOL Metalworking Lubricants is a market leader in the development and manufacture of metalworking fluids. we currently require a dedicated Service Engineer for our Southern area of the UK. This area covers from the South Birmingham area to Southwest/East of the UK as a guide. Previous experience working within CNC environment would be advantageous but not essential.

Undertaking service visits of both existing and potential customers, covering all aspects of metalworking fluid management, your duties will include:

  • Metalworking fluid checks and rectifications where appropriate
  • Taking samples of cutting fluids from CNC machine tool sumps
  • Machine tool cleanouts as required.
  • Setting up and monitoring of trials for new customers
  • Completing records and charts within the machine shops
  • Compiling service reports on your laptop from a generic template
  • Completing a weekly calendar and creating journey planner
  • Liaising with customer contacts at all levels
  • Dealing with challenges and being reactive to customer needs

Required Skills:

  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills & Customer focus with ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
  • IT literate, Windows, Excel & Word
  • Track-record of success in a similar role
  • The individual must be flexible, as some overnight stays are required.
  • Full current UK driving licence

To obtain the best from our current team this role would be ideally suited to someone in the M4 Corridor and South Midlands, although all applicants will be considered.
