Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman / Manager

Salary: £35K – £45K per annum

Ridgeway Facades are a successful, family owned company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of glazed aluminium facades.
We have a requirement for an experienced foreman/manager in our recently formed sheet metal division in Gloucester. The position is permanent, full time and offers a competitive salary.
Reporting to the Production Manager the Foreman / Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations on the shop floor, including managing stock control, scheduling works in accordance with site programmes, production and dispatch.
The role will include the following duties –
- Oversee and manage the production process and resources to the production schedule.
- Checking timesheets against the production schedule.
- Understanding where key performance indicators can be set.
- Advise and assist in the setting up of machines on the shop floor.
- Control of stock levels
- Ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining strict QA standards.
The ideal candidate must be a team player, able to take control of a small team of operatives and have experience of working in a similar environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to the role.
