Job Title: Site Fitter
Location: London and the southern counties
Salary: £150 per day
Job Type: Full time – permanent
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Blackburn & Co Ltd are a metal fabrication company, based in Essex, specialising in manufacturing and installation of all mild steel metalwork, such as staircases, handrails, balustrades, gates and bespoke fabrications.
The Role
Site fitter who will work on various sites across London and the southern counties. You will have use of company van (to be kept at work premises) so must have clean driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting all different aspects of architectural work from staircases to balustrade
- Reading from fabrication drawings
- Liaising with customer site operatives
- Maintaining health and safety standards on site
- Completing projects on time and to a high standard
The Candidate:
- Must have experience in reading drawings, fabrication and site work in various aspects of metalwork, ranging from balustrade, staircases to structural steelwork.
- Must have a CSCS card
- Must have a full driving license
- Company vehicle will be kept on our premises.
- Must have their own welding mask and general hand tools.
- A self-motivated individual
- Excellent communication skills
Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Site fitter, welder, site installer, metal installer, metal work, metal fabricator, metal fabrication, site operative, Fitter. Mechanical fitter, window fitter, project engineer, project manager, Installation engineer, site operative, site technician, metal works, fabricator, mechanical operative, welding manager, may also be considered for this role.
