Job Title: Stores / Parts Advisor

Location: Leighton Buzzard, LU7 4RW

Salary: Competitive, Dependant on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, 8am to 5pm with an hours lunch.

Purpose of the Role:

To maintain and ensure timely supply and issue of parts required, ensuring effective use of company assets.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Parts receipting and stock control, including, but not limited to, issuing of stock/parts to engineers, general stores maintenance and stock control
  • Delivering parts and assisting in Customer vehicle collection and delivery
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of all Company documentation within Company guidelines
  • Ensures Stores and Goods inwards areas are maintained in accordance with Company safety, housekeeping and security procedures
  • Updates and maintains computer records and operational systems
  • As and when required – van stock checks
  • Undertake annual stock take in accordance with Company procedure
  • To complete the referred procedures as detailed in the process document
  • Accurate identification of the parts needed for the follow up work to be carried out
  • To make recommendations for works, in addition to the engineers request
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained at all times with Suppliers and Depots
  • Ensure operational deadlines are met
  • Undertake other duties which the Company may from time to time reasonably request
  • Complies with all aspects of ISO 9001:2015 under your remit

The Candidate

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Basic education required

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant experience
  • Employs limited technical skill with direction

Range of relationships: Internal cross functional relationships, Customer and Supplier contact

Please Note: Due to the nature of the role, no sponsorship or relocation packages will be available for this position so all candidates must be eligible to both live and work in the UK to be considered.
