Job Title: Supervising Social Worker – Fostering

Location: Stoke-On-Trent

Salary: £22,000 – £36,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified SWE registered Social Worker to join the agency’s successful team in Stoke-on-Trent, mostly based from home but as part of the Stafford team on a permanent, full time basis.

Their child-centred ethos makes them stand out from the rest, and as their Social Worker you will be offered full training and support throughout your career with them.

Your role will be exciting, varied, and flexible, with no two days ever being the same. You’ll operate both independently and as part of a team to build your own caseload, while working directly with the carers and young people within a residential home setting.

As a Social Worker you will maintain relationships with their current fostering households, while working to introduce new potential carers to the family

The Candidate:

They’ll consider both newly qualified and experienced Social workers, who have a passion for what they do and can demonstrate they advocated for young people. Being self-motivated with professional curiosity and attention to detail you will have a holistic mind-set focused on achieving the best outcomes for young people.

The ideal social worker:

  • Must have a background in working with children, preferably in a residential setting too
  • Must already be registered with SWE
  • Must have a driving licence and access to a car for work use
