Job Title: Support Worker

Salary: £19,500 to £19,890 per annum (FTE)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Your job will be wide and varied, no day is ever the same. But here are a few things you might be doing:

  • providing purposeful support to the people we support (PWS).
  • supporting PWS to access opportunities to enhance their skills and experiences.
  • supporting PWS to monitor their wellbeing and health.
  • supporting with engagement, enthusiasm and positivity, both in teams and 1:1
  • To work closely with the appointed PWS to promote person centred approaches in all aspects of their lives.
  • Maintain PWS administration records including the PWS main files and Care Guidelines.
  • To record, report, agree and take actions to address any concerns, complaints or grievances the PWS may have.
  • To adopt the Vulnerable Adults and Complaints procedures where appropriate

The Person and Skills Required:

  • You don’t need any specific experience (some of our best support workers didn’t). We can give you the skills – all we need from you is that energy and a strong sense of values. At Peak15 we look for our staff to be progressive; empowering; supportive; innovative; collaborative; purposeful and most importantly – have an element of joy!
  • You may hold an NVQ L2 or L3 in social care – that’s fabulous, although not required. We will support you to achieve one of those if you like. There are many things that make up a great job and they are different for everyone – why not see what we have to offer…
