Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £11.00 per hour.
Job type: Permanent – Various shifts including evenings and weekends. Preferably x2 days 6am-9am & x2 days 4pm-10pm.

The Role:
We are recruiting for a number of Support Workers to support a 10 year old girl with cerebral palsy and epilepsy living in within her family home. The client is a wheelchair user and requires help with washing, dressing and feeding via gastrostomy.
The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering her to be as independent as possible.
Flexible support required 24/7. The package will include 24/7 care during holidays and weekends
The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.
The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
The Candidate:
- We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualized support.
- Previous care experience with children is preferred. Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client such as recreational activities.
- Driver with full UK License essential.
