Zedify has some great financial backers and is going through a period of significant growth. Our business was founded on its purpose to make cities better, and we’re looking for a Sustainability lead to help us have the greatest impact. In this crucial role, you’ll take responsibility for the research, monitoring and communication of the positive environmental impacts of our award-winning company.

The Role:

  • Delight our customers with compelling data on how our service delivers positive impact. Monitor and report our Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions across the business using our advanced online reporting tools
  • Measure and track our positive GHG and liveability impact across the network and publish monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Influence, network and respond to legal and regulatory requirements in the UK and EU and make sure we comply with all relevant environmental legislation
  • Take ownership of our BCorp application and oversee all BCorp audits, helping us make continual improvements across the company
  • Liaise with all staff on our sustainability work, you’ll handle surveys, and implement new sustainability policies and procedures
  • Help us walk the walk- you’ll assess and optimise procurement supply chains to minimise environmental impacts in line with key milestones
  • Work with internal and external teams on exciting research projects, reporting and communication of our sustainability-led vision, mission and achievements to our key stakeholders

Who we’re looking for:

  • An impeccable eye for detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator, able to present complex issues in approachable and compelling language
  • Knowledge of the sustainability sector, life cycle assessment, GHG emissions measurement and reporting
  • A strong sense of ownership- you set a high standard and are always looking to raise the bar further
  • A track record of system and process improvement
  • Occasional travel to London and Zedify hubs around the country
  • Graduate degree or similar in environmental science and sustainability would be desirable
  • You’ll share our ideals and ethos on sustainability and ethics, be commercially astute and motivated to make an immediate impact. You’ll be willing to participate, add value, and successfully solve the challenges of a rapidly growing technology business.
  • Finally, you’ll want to make a difference and be part of a team that’s excited about addressing big issues like climate change and making our cities more liveable.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, bonus and/or share options, an EV & cycle-to-work scheme as well as a great team culture to work with. We look forward to hearing from you.
