We are looking for a Technical Buyer to join our established team in the manufacturing of bespoke fasteners and precision components. This is a new role with the scope for you to make your mark on this business.
Is this right for you?
As Technical Buyer you will be responsible for:
- Procurement of raw material, tooling and other necessary items to ensure the production schedule can be achieved.
- Procurement of items in accordance with the specification provided by engineers.
- Building relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure maximum value & drive spending efficiencies.
- Expedite delivery of procured items when required.
- Following the production job card system.
- Complete special projects and tasks.
- Manage administration regarding purchases and invoices.
- Producing spending reports for leadership meetings.
- Support MD and other functions as necessary to facilitate production.
The ideal candidate must have an understanding of materials, tooling and consumables within a turned parts manufacturing environment. Be from a buying/purchasing background.
All our work is bespoke, each job is different so a high level of manufacturing knowledge is essential.

- Hours – 7am-4pm Mon to Friday.
- 34 days annual leave.
