Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

A top-brand company in the Chester area are looking for an experienced Technical Support Advisor to join a busy department and are looking to progress their career within a customer centric support environment.

The Role:

Your primary role function is to provide proactive, highly accurate technical support and advice to Hearing Care Professions regarding the Company’s products and services as well as liaising with the operations department and dispensers to ensure efficient handling and resolution of referrals that require further information.

Duties will include advising Hearing Care Professionals over the phone and email on products, hearing aid fittings, software, shell modelling and a range of technical issues and ensuring great customer satisfaction by working with and supporting Widex colleagues in Customer Services, Operations, Product Management and Sales to deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will own resolution referrals from internal processes that require further information from our customers as well as fault finding of hearing aids, software as well as assistive listening devices. Once you’ve analysed repairs and returns and identified any issues within the manufacturing process, you will advance them to the appropriate person/department.

The Candidate:

You must be a team worker with an inquisitive mindset and strong problem-solving skills, and it is essential that you can communicate solutions simply and clearly to a range of customers about challenges that may sometimes be complex. You should be willing to learn new processes and be able to prioritise tasks, keep organised and command a high-level of attention to detail.

Previous experience in a customer service focused role and with audiology focused work experience is essential, as is the ability to provide solutions in a clear, concise and professional manner through strong oral and written communication skills and using analytical and problem-solving skills

Along with being self motivated, self quality managed and have ability to work on own initiative, you will need to have strong IT literacy skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/ Outlook/PowerPoint and especially CRM).
