Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Whiteparish (near Salisbury)

Salary: £35,000 depending on skills & experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday)

The Company is a fast-growing international electronics company, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronics products.

They have an ambitious growth plan to develop new products and push into new markets in order to remain at the forefront of the electronics industry. They are looking for a highly motivated, technologically-minded, individual to become part of their growing sales team to drive the company forwards.

Working closely with their Sales Manager, you will build strong relationships with customers to forge long term partnerships. You will need to identify and win new clients who would benefit from the company’s custom design services as well as manage key OEM accounts and grow the company’s sales.

You must be able to provide technical pre-sales support, plan and execute sales campaigns, client visits and pitches as well as attend market functions such as trade shows when required.

You will need to possess a technical qualification or relevant experience in electronics, have a positive, confident and determined personality and be an excellent communicator. Sales experience would be preferred, however training and development will be provided.

The role is primarily office based at the UK Head Office in Whiteparish, near Salisbury, and you will spend approximately 20% of your time out on client visits. It would suit someone who is qualified within electronic engineering or similar and has a natural flair for sales. Normal working hours are 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.

In return they offer a salary in the region of £35,000 depending on skills and experience together with an attractive benefits package which includes bi-annual discretionary company bonuses based on profitability.
