Job Title: Environmental Health Technical Support Officer (Food and Safety)

Location: East Suffolk Council – Melton, Woodbridge IP12 1RT or Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0EQ

Salary: £22,369 – £26,845 per annum (pro rata)

Job Type: Part Time, Fixed Term until March 2024

Working Hours: 15 Hours per week

About the Role:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our Council as an Environmental Health Technical Support Officer (EHTSO).

You will be one of our EHTSOs that carry out a range of administrative support duties based within the Food and Safety Team.

Key Duties:

Your duties will include receiving and processing incoming work arriving by email, telephone, and face to face interactions, with both internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining computer records using UNIform and other IT systems. Duties will also include quality control and correction as required and you will assist in arranging meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
