Job Title: TFGB Coffee Cart Supervisor

Location: Based at the Ashburton youth club, Putney and mobile outlets in Wandsworth

Salary: £ 25,584 per annum

Job type: Full Time – 4 Day Week This role is required to work weekends

The Company:

The Feel Good Bakery (TFGB) is a mobile coffee shop business who train, employ and mentor young people aged 16-25 who are not in education employment or training (NEET), have experienced disadvantage or are at risk of exploitation. Also for every coffee sold we provide a meal for a child in one of our partner services in Africa or Eastern Europe. Regenerate have entered an exciting period of growth in size and impact as a charity, and are looking for supervisors to oversee shifts on the mobile coffee shop outlets.

The Role:

As a coffee cart supervisor, you will support our young baristas by supervising them on shift and coaching them in their employment, you will also be responsible for maintaining the mobile coffee shop sales and day to day operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person who is passionate about utilising their skills in hospitality to improve the lives of young people and young adults.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the daily operations of the coffee shop.
  • Maintain and develop systems and procedures to ensure the TFGB coffee shop runs efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Supervise procedures including food hygiene (HACCP) and chemical safety (COSH).
  • Ensure the outlet’s cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, recorded and kept in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Oversee product quality and carry out quality control checks to make sure standards are maintained.
  • Work with the TFGB Operations Manager to help decide on and develop new products
  • Supervise a small team of young adults (TFGB team members) in the coffee cart
  • Ensure good team morale and effective production.
  • Liaise with TFGB Progression Manager to feedback team updates and development
  • Support team member’s work on key learning objectives
  • Ensure that the safeguarding policy is followed and all concerns reported to the managing director.
  • Calmly deal with any challenging team members, customers or situations that may arise

Experience

Education / training

  • Two GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above
