Job Title: Machinist / Toolmaker
Location: St. Leonards-On-Sea, East Sussex

At Douglas Precision we offer a complete Toolroom service as well as small quantity batch work machining.
As The T&G Group continues its investment in plant and infrastructure, we will be looking to fill the following position to meet the growing demands of our customers in line with continuing to provide our customers with an excellent service.
Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visa’s at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK
The role:
- Manual Milling, Turning, Surface & cylindrical Grinding.
The Candidate:
- Will be an experienced Toolmaker with the ability to work to close tolerances and very high standards of quality.
- A passion for engineering and the appreciation and commitment to achieve our client’s requirements is essential.
- Jig Grinding capabilities would be an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Your responsibilities will include all aspects of Toolmaking.
- We work in a busy environment where general helpfulness and flexibility are essential attributes for the post.
Benefits:
- Holiday 20-Days per annum (increasing with length of service) plus public/bank holidays.
- Basic working week is 39 hours, all overtime is paid at time & half (Mon-Sat).
