Salary: £19,000, salary increases after completion of P certs

The business now provides a comprehensive selection of Environmental Consultancy Services. The core areas of the business are Asbestos Consultancy, Legionella Consultancy Services and Fire Consultancy Services, across all sectors including Construction, Local Government, MOD, Education, Social Housing, Logistics, Manufacturing and many more.

The Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who would like to train to be an Asbestos Analyst to help grow the business and be a part of our team. This opportunity will enable the candidate to develop a long-term career in the Asbestos industry.

You will be provided training and experience through a staged development programme leading to formal BOHS P403 Proficiency Certificate in Asbestos Fibre Counting and P404 Proficiency certificate in Air Sampling & Clearance Testing of Asbestos OR Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analyst and a role within the Asbestos Analytical department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

You will learn the following to obtain your P403 in Asbestos Fibre Counting and P404 in Air Monitoring & Clearance testing certificates:

  • Undertake Air quality sampling
  • Undertake Fibre counting
  • Undertake four stage clearance inspection
  • Undertake clearance air testing
  • Undertake reassurance monitoring
  • Undertake personal and compliance monitoring
  • Completion of certificates that are legible in accordance with guidance and company procedure
  • Upload all certification data to the company database, at least daily
  • Asbestos Removal Site Project Management

Candidate Requirements:

  • The role is site based and requires flexibility such as weekend working and out of hours
  • You will need to hold a valid UK drivers’ licence
  • Applicants must be 18yr old or older
