Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse Assistant

Location: Thorpe Rd, Staines-upon-Thames, Staines TW18 3EQ

Salary: Competitive salary (£14.24 – £15.18 per hour) based on experience

Job Type: Full-time position, Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm, with additional overtime available on Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, to cover staff holidays

Practice Operating Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 Friday: 07:00 – 16:00 Saturday: By appointment.

Responsibilities: As a Trainee Dental Nurse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the dentist during clinical procedures for optimal patient care
  • Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
  • Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery for treatments
  • Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures
  • Recording and updating patient medical history and treatment information
  • Educating and supporting patients in maintaining good oral hygiene practices
  • Performing reception duties, such as appointment scheduling and handling patient queries

Requirements for Trainees:

  • Enthusiastic about pursuing a career in dental nursing
  • Willingness to undergo a dental nursing training program
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards patients

Working Hours / Expected Hours: 32 – 40 per week, Overtime opportunities available

  • Full-time position, Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm, with additional overtime available on Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, to cover staff holidays
  • One-hour lunch break each day, with an additional hour for weekly staff meetings
