Job Title: Training and Competence Administrator

This new and exciting opportunity will play an important supporting role to help ensure that the Certification Regime functions, Consultants and Paraplanners of the FCA authorised firms within the group are provided with professional T&C administrative support. It represents an exciting challenge as a key member of a dynamic and ambitious group.

This is a varied role assisting the T&C Officer with accredited body (e.g. CII) membership and SPS renewals and queries, examination and testing administration, as well as the production of prescribed and accurate T&C management information and KPIs in a timely manner, to help ensure that all regulatory T&C requirements are met.

In addition to existing T&C experience within a financial services environment, the successful candidate will also require proven communication, analytical and interpretation skills and needs a flexible yet well organised approach as key ‘core behaviours’.

Responsibilities

  • Acts with professionalism and integrity
  • Ensure maintenance of own competence by constantly reviewing your own training needs and, in conjunction with your Manager, addressing those needs in an appropriate and timely manner
  • To report to Line Management any serious issues affecting the Company’s group
  • To report any T&C failures/breaches to the Training and Competence Officer
  • To ensure that all invoices are passed to authorised signatories promptly
  • To ensure expenses are not incurred over and above the staff norms
  • To comply with PSG gifts and entertainment policy

Qualifications & Capabilities

  • Experience of T&C within a financial services environment
  • Willing to develop a working knowledge of FCA TC and FIT regulations/Certification Regime requirements
  • Proven communication, analytical and interpretation skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Report writing skills
