Job Title: Zedify Rider
Location: Manchester
Salary: £11.27hr basic / £12.68 including holiday pay / clothing allowance
Hours: Part Time / Full Time, Permanent
We have full and part time positions available and are particularly keen to speak to drivers who can work Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
As a Van Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers, while representing our partners brand through excellent customer service.
Zedify is building a system for deliveries that is fit for the future and better in all ways; zero emission by default (no offsetting here), intuitive & flexible (a great customer experience) and better for people (no gig economy for us).
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Hub Manager, the van driver will be required to travel to deliver supplies to our Zedify hubs and customers in our electric van.
This role is essential in providing exceptional quality of service to our customers and hubs across the organisation. Our drivers will represent Zedify and should always deal with queries in a professional manner working to our Operational standards.
What you’ll be doing:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review orders prior to delivery to ensure everything is as required
- Perform vehicle inspections prior to departure
- Loading and unloading deliveries in a safe and effective manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide an excellent customer service
- Navigate safely to destinations
- Occasional long-haul driving
- Use our software to mark delivered items
- On non driving days assist in the depot where required
What we are looking for:
- Applicants must have a clean driving record
- Be excellent communicator and deal with everyone in a professional manner
- Previous experience driving electric vehicle is advantageous
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
- Be comfortable at driving in the dark over winter months
