Job Title: Vehicle Valeter

Job type: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm (1-hour break), Full-time, Permanent
Are you passionate about making vehicles shine like new? Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in your work? If so, we want you to join our team as a Vehicle Valeter at TLC’s friendly workshop.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Valeter at TLC, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that every vehicle leaving our workshop looks its absolute best. You’ll work on a diverse range of vehicles, from large commercial vehicles to trucks, vans, and cars.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clean the inside and outside of a variety of vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are washed, vacuumed, and polished to a high standard.
- Remove overspray from vehicles.
- De-sticker and de-badge vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for quality issues, such as paint runs.
- Safely use all products and chemicals with the correct PPE.
- Assist with general yard duties as required.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- General valeting experience (we use Auto smart products).
- Competency in operating a jet wash machine.
- A willingness to work on all types of vehicles, from HGVs to cars.
- Experience in machine polishing vehicles (desirable).
- Good communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Reliability and excellent time management.
- A proactive approach to work.
- Physical aptitude due to the nature of the work.
Previous valeting experience is desirable, but if you’re new to the game, don’t worry – we’ll provide training. We’re looking for someone hardworking, eager to get stuck in, and genuinely committed to ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard.
