Job Title: Warehouse Administrator

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: Depending on experience

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 Hours per week)

About us:

Vent Engineering are a specialist in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been manufacturing, supplying, installing and commissioning ventilation systems for 35 years for a variety of projects of all shapes and sizes.

Vent Engineering is seeking an experienced Warehouse Administrator to work at our warehouse in Poole.

About you:

In order to be successful for this role, the following is required:

  • Experience of working in a similar busy warehouse administrator role
  • Strong communication skills as you will be the main contact into the warehouse from other departments (purchasing, sales etc)
  • Experience of using Microsoft Outlook
  • Accurate data entry skills with a good attention to detail
  • Organised and able to prioritise incoming work
  • The ability to work well in a team or on your own as required

About the role:

The warehouse organises the goods inwards and goods outwards for three separate companies. This role is pivotal in providing administration to our team of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking goods into the stock system on Sage 200
  • Despatching goods on Sage 200
  • Booking consignments on via our couriers website and producing a daily manifest report
  • Managing the movement of return stock within the building & communicating with Customer Services to ensure a speedy turnaround of repairs
  • Organising the stock adjustment requests between the warehouse and the Stock Controller
  • Assisting with organising Van deliveries
  • To be available to assist in the Warehouse when needed
  • Other duties as required

Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and must live within reasonable commuting distance from Poole, Dorset as it is an office-based role.
